Maggie Hyland

Assistant Coach
Maggie Hyland attended Robinson Secondary School and played on the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse Team for four years. She started all four years and earned All-District, All-Region and All-State Honors. She became a captain for the varsity team her junior and senior years. Maggie played low attack as a freshman and sophomore, and rose to be a midfielder her last two years where she led the team to the 3rd round of Regionals. Maggie tried out for Cardinal Girls Lacrosse Club in 2008, when the club began, and played on Cardinal 2014 Red for 6 years. 
During the summers of her high school career, she volunteered as a counselor for the annual Robinson Secondary School Lacrosse Camp (RAM CAMP) in 2012 and 2013, as well as for a Vienna youth level camp. Maggie assisted Elizabeth Case, head coach of Robinson Varsity Lacrosse, in coaching Robinson to the Virginia State Championship in 2015.
Maggie started her first year at college at the University of Louisville in 2014. She played Division I lacrosse for one year at the university, and learned what it takes to be a Division I student-athlete. Although she thoroughly enjoyed her experience at Louisville, she is now back at home attending Northern Virginia Community College in hopes of transfering to Virginia Tech
